Key Responsibilities & Skills:
- Strong experience in native Android development using Kotlin or Java, with production applications. Must have knowledge of foreground service types, Doze exemption, audio focus, and background execution.
- Experience in building or maintaining SIP clients, with strong understanding of SIP signaling, RTP/SRTP media, and packet capture troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of the Android audio subsystem, including AudioManager, audio focus, and routing between speaker, handset, and Bluetooth. Ability to troubleshoot one-way audio issues.
- Experience with Android Enterprise in managed fleet environments, including Device Owner, dedicated/COSU modes, managed configurations, and MDM-deployed applications.
- Strong experience with Bluetooth accessories, including HFP/HSP, HID, pairing lifecycle, and troubleshooting headset disconnections during calls.
