“I can succeed as an Executive Office Manager at Capital Group.”

As a member of the Executive Office, the Manager will serve as a point of contact and strategic partner to a member(s) of Capital Group’s Management Committee.  They will help drive the strategy, and elevate the impact of, external and internal engagements across leaders, and they will work on enterprise-wide initiatives contributing to the firm’s Long Term Strategic Plan.  As a key member of a small, nimble team, they will help shape and grow the Executive Office’s remit and global responsibilities.  This role will be highly visible with Capital Group’s senior leadership.

  • You are a self-starter who thrives in high-stakes, high-visibility environments and can operate with discretion and sound judgment.

  • You have experience managing executive-level updates and communications, with an ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling narratives.

  • You are comfortable independently owning relationships with senior leaders, internal stakeholders, and external industry peer contacts, and you bring a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset to every interaction.

  • You anticipate needs before they arise and bring a proactive, forward-thinking approach to supporting senior leadership.

  • You approach your work with a client-centric lens when reviewing executive-level briefings and assessing senior strategic engagements with clients.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • You have demonstrated strength in synthesizing information and developing polished briefing memos, leadership correspondence with clients and more.

  • You have a proven ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders.

  • You have the ability to engage and balance a diverse set of partners and create a collaborative and approachable environment, especially when working cross functionally globally and/or with time sensitivity.

  • You embrace a strategic mindset with the ability to connect themes across the enterprise.

  • You have the ability to operate with independence and self-motivation.

  • You have the ability to nimbly adapt to change and demonstrate a high degree of agility and flexibility when balancing multiple priorities.

  • You are able to apply strong judgment and proper discretion when handling highly sensitive and confidential information.

  • You have a BA or BS degree; MBA is a plus.

  • You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in financial services, including 2 years within an Executive Office or adjacent team.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $179,273-$286,837

New York Base Salary Range: $190,040-$304,064

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
