About this role

 Core Responsibilities

  • Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.

  • Deepens loyalty with existing Ultra High Net Worth clients by anticipating needs and demonstrating expertise to align solutions. Supports strategy planning for a book of business. Models growth opportunities, contributes to business planning activities, and supports client account retention.

  • Provides guidance and support to Relationship Managers. Assists in the recovery and strengthening of at-risk relationships by coaching Relationship Managers to demonstrate empathy and deeply understanding client needs.

  • Develops, implements, and monitors goals and action plans. Reviews team performance and identifies trends, suggests improvements, and provides analysis/feedback to Relationship Managers.

  • Resolves complex client issues related to products or processes by taking ownership and delivering consistently with excellence. Influences changes among the team to improve end-to-end processes and meet client needs.

  • Participates in solution development with internal colleagues and cross-functional teams. Supports Relationship Managers in identifying and implementing solutions.

  • Uses technical knowledge of Vanguard funds, products, and services to proactively identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships.

  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years related work experience. Three years of experience in Financial Services. Relationship Management and Sales experience preferred.

  • Previous sales leadership experience preferred.

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.

  • This job requires FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, 65, 66 or ability to acquire within department guidelines.

  • This role requires one to work a hybrid schedule coming onsite to Malvern, PA every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
