Key Responsibilities –

• Develop, review, and release manufacturing process plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), routing sheets, and process documentation for components and assemblies.
• Establish and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and special tools through First Article Inspection (FAI), while supporting new product introduction and production readiness.
• Drive process improvements through Kaizen, process trials, deviation analysis, cycle time reduction, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance productivity and manufacturing efficiency.
• Lead implementation of engineering changes, process standardization, document control, and adoption of new manufacturing technologies and best practices.
• Support cost estimation for new projects, identify cost optimization opportunities, and promote efficient utilization of resources, including energy conservation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISMS, EMS, OHSAS, and safety standards while maintaining process documentation, information security, and regulatory requirements.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen, PMO, Business Excellence, and cross-functional projects, to drive operational excellence.
• Foster a culture of safety, ethics, risk management, and team development by ensuring adherence to organizational values, compliance requirements, and safe working practices.

Requirements –

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 7 years (Engineering Degree) or 10 years (Engineering Diploma) of Manufacturing Engineering experience within the Aerospace industry.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and forming processes, machining, welding, heat treatment, surface treatment, and fixture/special tool design.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Creo (Pro-E), CATIA, along with ERP systems, process planning, scheduling, and manufacturing time estimation.
• Experience working with sheet metal ducting using Aluminum, Inconel, and Titanium materials is preferred.
• Demonstrated competencies in delivering results, stakeholder management, effective communication, collaboration, and driving continuous improvement and future-ready manufacturing practices.
