This role in MI Onboarding sits within the Client Lifecyle Management (CLM) group under the Global Corporate Investment Banking (GCIB) division in MUFG Bank Ltd, London branch. To deliver accurate, timely, and insightful MI to support onboarding oversight and decision-making. The role ensures data integrity, maintains robust reporting and dashboards, and provides visibility on pipeline, performance, and risks. It drives efficiency through automation and process improvements, supports stakeholder requirements, and upholds governance, controls, and auditability, enabling effective monitoring and continuous enhancement of onboarding outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Produce and maintain regular MI reports covering onboarding pipeline, status tracking, SLAs, and key risk indicators.

• Ensure all reports are accurate, consistent, and delivered within agreed timelines.

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and other visual reporting tools.

• Support enhancements to dashboards to improve usability and insight delivery. • Maintain a centralized dataset of onboarding requests, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

• Perform data validation and reconciliation checks to identify inconsistencies or gaps.

• Escalate data quality issues and support remediation activities.

• Support the creation of insight summaries to accompany MI reporting.

• Respond to ad-hoc data queries from stakeholders.

• Assist in reducing manual processes and improving reporting efficiency.

• Work with onshore teams to gather MI requirements and implement changes.

• Act as a point of contact for MI-related queries within defined scope.

• Maintain MI documentation, including report logic, data definitions, and processes.

• Follow established data governance and control standards.

• Ensure auditability and traceability of reporting outputs.

Candidate Profile:

Work Experience

Essential:

• One or more of the following is essential:

• 5 years + experience as a Data SME with a strong understanding of (Client) Data and the importance of how Data Quality supports both the client experience and mitigates internal risk.

• 5 years + experience in Front Office (1LoD) management environment working with a team of data analysts and/or quality control analysts • Experience in MI reporting / data analysis / reporting operations

Functional / Technical Competencies:

• Proficiency in MS Office with Advanced Excel

• Strong analytical skills to interpret large sets of data

• Problem solving skills

• Understanding of client lifecycle – from onboarding to offboarding and various stages / scenarios in between

• Excellent communication skills – clear, concise and professional communication abilities, especially in MI creation and the interpretation of the data

• Broad knowledge of investment and corporate banking products and services and how they impact or support clients across sectors / regions

• Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• A methodological and logical approach

• Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders at all levels

• Approachable and able to form good working relationships

• Desire to learn and seek continuous improvement

• Excellent organizational skills and time management

• Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision

• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy

• Demonstrates initiative especially in a matrix organization

Strong working knowledge of:

• Microsoft Excel (advanced level)

• Power BI (or similar visualization tools)

• Power Query

• Good understanding of data handling, validation, and reconciliation

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

• Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Education / Qualifications:

• Degree level education in relevant subjects (e.g. finance, math’s, physics etc.)

• Other beneficial qualifications (e.g. MBA, CFA, etc.)

• Languages (proficient in writing) English
