About this role

About Netwealth

Netwealth isn't just a company. We're shaping the future of wealth in Australia. Our award-winning platform and NextGen technology empower advisers and investors to achieve more, and we're proud to be recognised as one of Australia's most innovative FinTech businesses.

Since 1999, we've grown rapidly by challenging the status quo. We move fast, think big, and stay agile. Free from unnecessary bureaucracy so we can deliver smarter solutions for our clients and create real impact.

But what truly sets us apart? Our people. We're a team of curious, optimistic and courageous individuals who collaborate to make life better for more Australians. We value authenticity, and agility, and we believe in creating an environment where you can do your best work, grow your career, and feel part of something meaningful.

If you're looking for a place where your ideas matter, where innovation is celebrated, and where you can help shape a brighter financial future, join us at Netwealth.

The opportunity

Imagine leading the team responsible for the technology that enables every person at Netwealth to do their best work. This is an opportunity to shape how a fast-growing technology company works internally, from modern workplace experiences and AI adoption through to automation, identity, collaboration platforms and enterprise productivity. You'll join at an exciting point in our journey as we invest in a new Technology Operating Model designed to help us scale, innovate and build strong foundations for the future.

As our Manager, Modern Workplace Engineering, you'll lead a team of engineers responsible for the platforms our people rely on every day, including Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot, Dynamics 365, Zscaler and Entra ID. You'll partner with teams across the business to understand how they work, uncover opportunities to improve productivity, and help deliver secure, practical and well-governed technology solutions.

This is a role for someone who enjoys bringing people together, creating clarity, and turning ideas into outcomes. You'll balance leadership, strategy and hands-on platform expertise while helping a talented team grow and thrive.

Why this role is different

At Netwealth, we're building more than systems. We're creating an environment where great work compounds.

Our Technology Operating Model is centred on clear ownership, strong engineering foundations, modern ways of working and thoughtful adoption of AI. We believe the best technology organisations create the conditions for their people to do meaningful work, solve real problems and continually grow.

You'll play a key role in that vision by:

  • Leading and developing a team of Modern Workplace and D365 engineers across Australia and Vietnam.

  • Driving adoption of Microsoft 365, Power Platform and AI solutions that genuinely improve the employee experience.

  • Helping shape the future of AI enablement through Copilot, automation and business productivity solutions.

  • Influencing outcomes across the business and building trusted partnerships with stakeholders at every level.

About you

  • You'll likely bring expertise leading workplace, platform or enterprise engineering teams and enjoy operating at the intersection of people, technology and business outcomes.

  • You will have expertise across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Power Platform or enterprise SaaS platforms, but equally important is your ability to coach others, build trusted relationships and create environments where teams can do their best work.

  • You'll be someone who is naturally curious about emerging technology, excited by the possibilities of AI, and motivated by delivering solutions that make a meaningful difference to how people work.
