What you'll do
- Direct all activities necessary for the procurement of ingredients required for feed production at favorable terms and costs within acceptable risk management guidelines.
- Schedule and track multiple ingredients for MFA feed mills on an ongoing basis.
- Study and evaluate market conditions for best purchasing options for grain and other commodity feed ingredients such as soy hulls, wheat midds, soybean meal, DDGs, etc.
- Look for opportunities to take forward positions within corporate risk guidelines.
- Purchase micro ingredients for feed mills
- Compile weekly pricing on micro ingredients
- Use MFA’s buying volume and market insights to make competitive buys for AgriServices and Local Affiliate locations (Direct Ship).

What You’ll Do
- Schedule and track multiple ingredients for MFA feed mills on an ongoing basis.
- Study and evaluate market conditions for best purchasing options for grain and other commodity feed ingredients such as soy hulls, wheat midds, soybean meal, DDGs, etc.
- Look for opportunities to take forward positions within corporate risk guidelines. These positions should be evaluated relative to Division plans and objectives regarding feed pricing and bookings.
- Purchase micro ingredients for feed mills
- Compile weekly pricing on micro ingredients
- Use MFA’s buying volume and market insights to make competitive buys for AgriServices and Local Affiliate locations (Direct Ship).

Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Business, Agriculture or related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of three years of experience in ingredient purchasing and/or commodity trading
