About this role

The Payroll Operations Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all payroll operations to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing. This role manages payroll processing, timekeeping, accruals, and tax withholdings, while ensuring adherence to government regulations and reporting requirements. The position also leads a payroll team, drives operational excellence, and identifies opportunities to improve processes and systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and maintain payroll and timekeeping policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll tax laws, withholdings, and government reporting requirements.
  • Oversee time-off accruals, payroll reconciliations, and related reporting.
  • Lead, coach, and develop payroll team members; set clear objectives and monitor performance.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payroll issues.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Process improvements and support related activities as applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years payroll experience in PH( inhouse payroll) and other APAC countries, including leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP, or similar).
  • Proven ability to lead a team and manage payroll operations effectively.
  • Identifies and implements new ideas, and affects change and improvements to business processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, English communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Candidates must be amenable to working onsite three (3) days per week in

W Fifth Avenue (W5th), BGC, Taguig.
