  • Set up, monitor and trouble shoot automated manufacturing centre equipment.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement by using tools such as Kaizen events and CORE tools.
  • Make the best use of time and resources to complete work.
  • Keep current with job requirements, products, computer technology (e.g. MS Office products) , and company policies.
  • Actively participate in the development of processes and standard work documents that will create a productive, self-sustaining cell that operates at the highest level of CORE.
  • Be actively involved in maintaining training documentation (OJT’s , Standard Work) and leading area training as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks (TPM walk arounds) and assist maintenance with PM activities.
  • Work with the various Plant 41 support areas to ensure cell success and compliance
  • Support EH&S initiatives and actively participate in incident investigations, tier 1 audits and WAA

What you need to be successful?

What your day to day will look like?
 

 As part of the Plant 41 multidisciplinary team, the Production Labourer will be responsible for processing parts through and other duties assigned in a 24-7, 12 hour shift environment. Must be able to work all shift hours, including night shift The operator may be expected to perform multiple tasks throughout the manufacturing line. Must be fully aware of export control requirements and adhere to expectations. Please note that this position will require extensive training.
