WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Machine operations:  on/off and adjustments
  • Machine setup for parts being manufactured
  • Training in DSI/JDE production reporting
  • Understanding work orders/BOMs/routings
  • Familiarity of heat shrink connector part numbers and raw material
  • Quality inspection of parts
  • Operation of scales
  • Maintain well-organized and clean work environment
  • General packaging and assembly assignments, as required
  • Safety requirements, as applicable

YOU HAVE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Team-focused approach and willingness to exchange and share information with coworkers as well as follow verbal and written instructions provided by production lead
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail and a high sense of urgency
  • Willingness to work voluntary/mandatory overtime when business dictates
  • Abilities to meet the following physical and environmental demands:
    • Lift up to 35 pounds
    • Stand or sit for a prolonged period throughout an 8-hour shift
    • Bend, stoop, twist, reach 
    • Operate motorized equipment safely
    • Ability to work with small parts using hand-eye coordination
