Onsite – Orrville, OH

Our Team in Space and Defense Group is looking for a Manufacturing Process Lead to join them. You will report to the Machining Operations Manager and have an onsite, 2nd shift schedule in Orrville, Ohio.

 

To be considered for the Manufacturing Process Lead position, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

• High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• At least 7 years of related machining experience.

 

As a Manufacturing process Lead, you will:

• Ensure machines are running efficiently, safely, and to quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day support to machinists and operators in the work cell.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for gear machining processes and setups.
• Assist with job sequencing and workflow optimization (e.g., leveraging similar setups to reduce downtime).
• Collaborate with supervisors and schedulers to support production plans and priorities.
• Troubleshoot machining and process issues and provide solutions in real time.
• Ensure accuracy of setups, measurements, and finished parts.
• Support training and knowledge-sharing with newer or less-experienced operators.
• Maintain organization and documentation related to setups and processes as required.

Salary Range Transparency:

Orrville, OH $33.65–$38.46 Hourly

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
