- Working knowledge of major social media platforms, content scheduling, community management and basic analytics.
- An interest in public relations and earned media, with some experience or a strong willingness to learn media monitoring, pitching and media coordination.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a positive Blue Card.
Nice to have
- Experience with Canva, WordPress, video editing, photography, customer relationship management or email marketing platforms.

The role
An opportunity has arisen within our Marketing team for a full-time Marketing and PR Coordinator, based at our corporate office in South Brisbane.
This is a hands-on content and coordination role supporting the Foundation’s public relations, social media, storytelling and broader marketing activity.
Working closely with the Acting Senior Marketing Manager, PR and Content Manager and the broader Marketing and Mass Fundraising team, you will be responsible for:

Who are you?
You are a creative and highly organised coordinator who enjoys turning ideas into engaging content. You are curious about what makes audiences pay attention and motivated to build your skills across social media, content creation, public relations and integrated campaigns.
You will bring:
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills, with an eye for accuracy, tone and brand consistency.
- Proven content creation skills, with experience producing reels, short-form video, social content, photography and other digital assets that drive engagement.
- A practical, hands-on approach to creating social and digital content.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Confidence working collaboratively and providing responsive support across a busy marketing team.
- Curiosity, sound judgement and a willingness to learn and contribute new ideas.
Key criteria
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
