About the role

Join the Harvard Recreation Team as a Marketing Assistant

Harvard Recreation, managed by HealthFitness, is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Assistant to support engagement and brand awareness across our recreation centers in Cambridge, MA.

This part-time opportunity offers approximately 15 hours per week and is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on marketing experience in a dynamic campus recreation environment.

Responsible for supporting the marketing and outreach efforts through content creation, social media management, short-form video production, graphic design, content scheduling, event coverage, and promotional activities. Works closely with the Marketing Coordinator to develop engaging digital content, maintain publishing schedules, and increase awareness of programs, services, events, and opportunities. Assists with event coverage, content planning, audience engagement, and marketing campaigns while ensuring adherence to client branding, accessibility, privacy, and communication standards.

Key Accountabilities:

The compensation range for this role is $19 - $20/hour.
