What You'll Do

  • Take full responsibility for the complete marketing automation and lifecycle approach for the Michigan iLottery program.

  • Act as the primary point of accountability for lifecycle automation performance and scalability.

  • Partner with marketing and business leaders to define lifecycle priorities and automation opportunities.

  • Compose, build, and optimize automated workflows across email, SMS, push notifications, weblayers, in-app messages, surveys, and personalized website experiences.

  • Leverage predictive modeling and advanced personalization features to drive engagement and retention.

  • Configure and manage complex triggers, segmentation logic, and multi-step customer journeys.

  • Complete promotional and bonus campaigns within automation workflows.

  • Maintain integrations with CRM, analytics, and data platforms for real-time targeting and personalization.

  • Identify and resolve automation risks and technical limitations.

  • Enforce QA, testing, and launch standards for all automated campaigns.

  • Build and complete A/B and multivariate tests to continuously improve performance.

  • Monitor and report on important metrics, translating results into actionable insights.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, CRM operations, or marketing operations roles.

  • Proven hands-on experience with Bloomreach Engagement or a similar platform.

  • Expertise in lifecycle marketing strategy, behavioral targeting, and campaign experimentation.

  • Demonstrated experience owning lifecycle or CRM performance metrics.

  • Proficiency with Bloomreach features such as weblayers and in-app messaging.

  • Experience with Jinja or similar templating logic for dynamic personalization.

  • Strong analytical skills to synthesize data into insights and recommendations.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Highly organized and diligent, with the ability to manage multiple high-impact initiatives.

  • Self-directed and proactive, growing in a hybrid, cross-functional team structure.
