What you'll do

  • Own and coordinate assigned marketing projects from initial concept and planning through execution, wrap-up and reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time and aligned with organizational objectives
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones and deliverables while managing multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Proactively identify project requirements, dependencies, risks and potential roadblocks, taking action to keep projects moving and recommending practical solutions when challenges arise
  • Establish clear responsibilities, deadlines and deliverables and act as the central point of contact for internal teams, vendors, agencies, contractors and external partners
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of brand activations, experiential marketing initiatives, campaigns, launches, celebrations and other special projects, including Air North’s 50th anniversary programming
  • Work with internal departments and external partners to translate creative concepts into executable plans and coordinate the production, delivery and installation of project materials
  • Coordinate project logistics and support on-site execution, including venues, staffing, equipment, signage, promotional materials, transportation and other operational requirements
  • Source and manage vendors and contractors, including obtaining quotes, coordinating purchasing requirements and overseeing deliverables, invoices and project commitments
  • Assist with project budgets, expense tracking, status reporting and post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, engagement and overall effectiveness
  • Work closely with Marketing and Social Media & Events to identify opportunities for content, storytelling, photography, video and communications while ensuring projects consistently reflect Air North’s brand standards

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Project Management, Event Management or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of professional experience in project coordination, marketing, event management, communications or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders, deadlines, deliverables and vendors
  • Experience coordinating events, activations, campaigns, launches or other complex initiatives
  • A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communities
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that’s through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support
  • Must be a legally entitled to work in Canada

Nice to have

  • Fluency in written French considered an asset

Location:           Whitehorse, Yukon - This role can be remote within an Air North base with travel required to Whitehorse.

Role Summary:

This role is a key project-management resource for the Marketing & Communications team, bringing structure, momentum and accountability to projects that involve multiple departments, stakeholders, vendors and deadlines. The Coordinator will help turn ideas into well-planned, professionally executed initiatives, with particular focus on major brand activations and strategic projects, including Air North's 50th anniversary initiatives in early 2027.
