  • Manage content on owned and third-party websites ensuring all information and content is accurate, making updates as needed
  • Manage content on digital guest-facing communications throughout the resort
  • Contribute to running the Fairmont Banff Springs social media accounts through creative content creation, posting and channel moderation
  • Assist with the planning and execution of photo/video shoots including pre and postproduction
  • Support Public Relations Manager with visiting media programs: reservations and personalized itinerary details, arrange VIP amenities, and co-host media dinners and events when required
  • Prepare internal resume documents to communicate event, project and press trip details with operations teams
  • Update press rooms, maintain media database and compile press clippings for monthly reports
  • Contribute to strategic planning sessions with ideas and research
  • Provide regular departmental status updates and circulate communications meeting notes
  • Complete individual tasks and projects as part of specific campaign plans
  • Other duties as assigned

    Job Description

    The Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator will provide daily administrative support and be a contributing member of the Marketing and Public Relations team at Fairmont Banff Springs.

    Competitive Salary: $54,000-$56,000 gross annually, based on previous experience & education

    Job Duties Include:

    Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

    • Manage content on owned and third-party websites ensuring all information and content is accurate, making updates as needed

    Qualifications

    Your Skills & Qualifications:

    • Diploma or degree in Business / Marketing / Communications an asset
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly organized, detail-oriented, a
    team player
    • Highly motivated self-starter capable of delivering on a diverse range of projects, often
    involving tight deadlines and competing priorities
    • Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CMS and
    HTML an asset
    • Proven organizational planning and project management skills
    • Ability to work well under pressure and manage priorities
    • Experience in digital marketing, communications or social media an asset
