In order to support A350 Customization Planning, Airbus Operations is looking for a

Master thesis student in the field of Customization Planning A350 (d/f/m), Thesis: Creation of a Customization Planning Referential for AIRBUS A350

You are looking for a master thesis project and want to get to know the work of a Customization Planning Manager (d/f/m)? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in the 350 Customization Planning  as a master thesis student (d/f/m)!

  • Location: Hamburg 

  • Start: As soon as possible

  • Duration: 6 months

You will perform your thesis in the A350 Customization Planning Team that anticipate and fulfill customer demand whilst providing, monitoring and controlling the reliable and transparent integrated planning for each Aircraft, agreed with all contributing functions to achieve customer satisfaction with continuous improvement.

You will perform your thesis in innovation of digital planning solutions and process improvements with the target to implement faster time to market results and simpler processes for customized Airbus A350. Interaction with all stakeholder / executing functions is required to optimize the define and development process of the customized Airbus A350 to customer satisfaction.

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Analyze the customization process for an AIRBUS A350 model.

  • Develop, complete and innovate new solutions for a leaner and faster customization.

  • Create and deploy a referential customisation process for one A350 model.

  • Visualize all process steps and interdependencies for the established process.

 Desired skills and qualifications

  • You’re an enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) within Aeronautics, Industrial Engineering or similar.

  • You have knowledge and interest in innovative solutions for complex subjects.

  • A good technical understanding.

  • You have profound communication skills and you are a team player.

  • English fluent, German would be a plus.
