Materials and Supply Manager

We’re partnering with a leading international food manufacturer to recruit a Supply Chain Manager based in Brisbane. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving end to end supply chain performance across planning, inventory, customer service and logistics, while partnering closely with manufacturing to deliver outstanding service, efficiency and continuous improvement.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll lead the end to end supply chain function, ensuring products move efficiently from suppliers through to customers while balancing service, cost and inventory performance.

Working closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, Finance and Logistics, you’ll drive S&OP, optimise inventory, improve customer service and lead initiatives that enhance operational performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end to end supply chain function across planning, customer service, inventory and logistics.
• Develop and execute supply chain strategies that improve service, efficiency and cost performance.
• Drive the S&OP process, ensuring alignment between customer demand, production capacity and inventory.
• Manage inventory levels to maximise product availability while optimising working capital.
• Partner with manufacturing to ensure production plans support customer demand and operational efficiency.
• Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team, creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and third-party logistics providers to improve service outcomes.
• Monitor and report on key supply chain KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve performance.
• Deliver continuous improvement initiatives across planning, warehousing, transport and customer service.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to support business growth and strategic initiatives.

About You

You’re an experienced Supply Chain leader who combines strong operational expertise with commercial acumen and a collaborative leadership style.
You’ll bring:

• Proven experience leading end to end supply chain operations within FMCG, food, beverage or manufacturing.
• Strong experience in supply planning, inventory management and S&OP.
• A track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across manufacturing, commercial and executive teams.
• Strong analytical and problem solving capability, with experience using data to drive better business outcomes.
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain planning tools.
• A continuous improvement mindset with exposure to Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies being highly regarded.
