Job Description
BwB is looking to partner with a Mauritius-based Sustainable Finance Expert to contingently support an upcoming circular economy financing assignment in Mauritius.
The expert should:
- Be based in Mauritius.
- Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Have at least 10 years of demonstrable experience working with financing institutions, project finance, or funding mechanisms.
- Have strong expertise in sustainable finance.
Qualifications
Experience with:
- Sustainable finance
- Financial institutions (banks, DFIs, development banks)
- Project finance/funding mechanisms
Highly desirable
- Circular economy financing
- Green finance / climate finance
- MSME finance
- Gender-responsive finance
- Experience working with Government of Mauritius or other Small Island Developing States (SIDS)
- Experience developing financing guidelines, credit frameworks or investment criteria
- Fluency in both English and French
