Mechanic - Commissioning

Responsibilities Commissioning Support: Perform mechanical commissioning tasks on pumps, compressors, turbines, and other rotating equipment. Installation & Alignment: Assist in installation, alignment, and testing of mechanical systems and machinery. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical faults during commissioning and carry out corrective actions. Testing & Verification: Conduct pressure tests, vibration checks, and mechanical integrity verification. Documentation: Record test results, prepare commissioning reports, and maintain compliance documentation. Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to offshore HSE standards, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and permit-to-work systems. Requirements Requirements Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of offshore mechanical installation and commissioning experience. Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, alignment charts, and commissioning procedures. Familiarity with API, ASME, and NOC standards. Certifications & Training Mechanical Commissioning Qualification (MDR/Equivalent) BOSIET / HUET (OPITO certified) Basic H2S Training EPCIC Project HSES Induction
