Mechanical Engineer

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Mechanical Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Key Responsibilities Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment used in oil & gas operations. Review mechanical drawings, specifications, equipment data sheets, and technical documentation. Support installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems. Diagnose mechanical equipment faults and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and HSE teams during field activities. Ensure mechanical work complies with applicable engineering standards and site safety requirements. Monitor equipment condition and contribute to preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, inspection findings, and engineering documentation. Required Skills Mechanical Engineering: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals relevant to industrial equipment. Oil & Gas Equipment: Knowledge of pumps, compressors, piping systems, valves, and associated equipment. Maintenance Engineering: Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices. Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to identify mechanical faults and determine appropriate corrective action. Engineering Drawings & Safety: Ability to interpret drawings and work within industrial HSE requirements. Preferred Skills Exposure to oil & gas plant or field operations. Knowledge of rotating and static equipment. Familiarity with preventive maintenance and equipment reliability practices.
