Mechanical Installation Site Manager

As a Mechanical Site Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring the proper mechanical implementation of automated production systems, leading the installation process and ensuring the operational availability and reliability.

General Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all on-site mechanical installation activities.
• Plan the phases, schedules, milestones, and deliverables of the mechanical installation scope of projects.
• Resolution of technical and operational incidents that may arise during mechanical assembly.
• Supervision and coordination of the installation personnel in their charge, including supervisors and mechanical team leaders.

• Risk identification and mitigation

• Determine the human, technical and material resources necessary for the development of the mechanical assembly projects that are assigned to it.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, industrial safety and applicable regulations.
• Guarantee the documentation and technical closure of mechanical installations.
• Ability to prepare reports or follow-up reports of installation tasks, to inform the head of the department, project management or the client.
• Coordination with the mechanical engineering team for the reception, analysis and implementation of the technical information necessary for the realization of the mechanical assembly.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience performing supervision tasks in mechanical installation projects for the assembly of automated and/or robotic lines, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Technical knowledge of: complex electromechanical installations, robotic and industrial automation systems, reading and interpretation of EPLAN electrical diagrams and industrial safety regulations.
• Problem-solving profile, with decision-making skills and management of situations on site.
• Availability to travel is required.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
