What you'll do
- Direct and manage multiple mechanical construction projects simultaneously.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, manpower forecasts, and profitability projections.
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, contracts, and subcontracts.
- Lead project planning, execution, and coordination efforts with owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and field teams.
- Manage project procurement activities, including major equipment and material purchases.
- Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, permit requirements, inspections, and project documentation.
- Monitor project financial performance, including cost tracking, billings, collections, forecasting, and margin management.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to maintain project objectives.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety, quality, productivity, and schedule compliance.
- Mentor assistant project managers, coordinators, and project engineers.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships that support repeat business opportunities.
