What you'll do
- Assist in designing mechanical components, mechanisms, and electronic enclosures using CAD software.
- Support prototyping, fabrication, and assembly of mechanical and mechatronic systems.
- Assist with mechanical testing, validation, and troubleshooting of components and assemblies.
- Participate in laboratory, workshop, and field testing, including sea trials where applicable.
- Support firmware development and testing for embedded systems and microcontrollers.
- Assist with sensor integration, actuator testing, and hardware bring-up.

- Basic understanding of embedded systems, sensors, actuators, or microcontrollers is a plus.
- Exposure to C/C++, Arduino, STM32, or ARM-based development is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of Python is a plus.
- Familiarity with PCB design, wire harnessing, or electronics assembly is advantageous.
- Understanding of engineering testing and validation methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git or version control tools is beneficial.

Job Scope
You will report directly to the Hardware Technical Lead and work closely with our multidisciplinary engineering team. During your internship, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the development of BeeX's autonomous underwater vehicles.
Your responsibilities may include:
