Melbourne SAP Ariba Consultant

Your role

We are seeking a skilled SAP Ariba Consultant with hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Ariba solutions. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to streamline procurement processes, enhance supplier collaboration, and ensure seamless integration between SAP Ariba and ERP systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP Ariba solutions.
  • Configure, implement, and support key SAP Ariba modules, including:
  • SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing
  • SAP Ariba Sourcing
  • SAP Ariba Contracts
  • SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP)
  • SAP Ariba Supplier Risk (preferred) 

• Participate in end-to-end implementation projects, rollouts, and support engagements.
• Configure procurement workflows, approval processes, catalogs, and supplier enablement activities.
• Support integration between SAP Ariba and SAP ERP/SAP S/4HANA using CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway).
• Perform system testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and production deployment activities.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments and integrations.
• Conduct user training sessions and create solution documentation.
• Support incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, and Vendor Management teams.

 

Your Profile

Required Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Experience in SAP Ariba configuration and implementation.
• Knowledge of procurement policies, supplier management, sourcing, contracts, and invoicing processes.
• Experience with SAP Ariba Network and supplier onboarding.
• Understanding of purchasing, contracts, sourcing events, and approval workflows.

Required Technical Skills

• Knowledge of SAP Ariba integration with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG).
• Understanding of master data management and data migration activities.
• Familiarity with web services, interfaces, and integration concepts.
• Basic understanding of SAP MM procurement processes.

Remuneration for this role is structured in accordance with this award, with classification level and salary determined based on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications. Full statutory entitlements, including the standard Superannuation Guarantee, apply.
