What you'll do
- Assist merchandising team on product description and attributes
- Carry out quality control and verification checks for incoming inventory to ensure proper documentation of any defects and set the condition level
- Assist to maintain the in-house proprietary authentication bible with newest material and photos
- Send out quotations to sellers (and make pricing suggestions)
- Carry out negotiations with sellers for inventory acquisition or consignment on Whatsapp and during physical appointments
- Schedule appointments with sellers for acquisition and consignment
- Assist with regular maintenance of market research data with regards to luxury bags resale for the brands accepted by Carousell Luxury
- Work closely with cross-functional partners, including Operations Teams, Photoshoot team, Marketing team and Sales team
- Prepare monthly listings for discounted products
- Follow-up on items to be repaired with third party service
- Any other ad-hoc tasks required by the company
