What you'll do
- Manages all biomedical technicians, functions and activities within the assigned Piedmont Healthcare facility or facilities, including personnel management, regulatory compliance, customer service, and budget control.
- Ensures clinical equipment is repaired and maintained in the most cost effective manner and that it is accurate for clinical diagnosis.
- Responsible for EOC committee reports, surveys and inspections from JCAHO / DNV and other regulatory agencies.
- Assures strong customer service levels across department lines with good communication and relationships.
- Assists with aligning standard processes across the Piedmont Healthcare system.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related Clinical Field. Required or
- In Lieu of degree six (6) years of experience, beyond minimum experience Required
- 5 years of experience within a healthcare setting with a minimum of three (3) years in a hospital setting. Experience within Biomedical Engineering. Required or
- In lieu of degree 11 years of experience within a healthcare setting with a minimum of three (3) years in a hospital setting. Experience within Biomedical Engineering. Required

- 1 year of supervisory or management experience Preferred
