Job Description:

As a Microsoft Azure Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging Azure Data Services to drive data engineering initiatives. Your expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 will be crucial in building robust data solutions.

Primary Skills Required:

Proficiency in scripting languages like Python.
Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.
Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
Strong knowledge of Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Blob, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, ADB, Logic Apps, Azure SQL DB, and Synapse DWH.
Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, including the creation of Notebooks and Clusters.
Knowledge of machine learning methods to contribute to prescriptive and predictive modeling.
Hands-on experience with SQL database design.

Secondary Skills Required:

Familiarity with several programming languages, emphasizing Python.
Ability to build algorithms and prototypes using programming languages.
Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability.
Great numerical and analytical skills.
Collaborate with data scientists and architects on various projects.

Educational Background:

Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a similar field; a Master's degree is a plus.
Data engineering certification is a plus.
