Mid L&C Artist

Eligibility:

• Graduate in Fine Arts / Science,Excellent understanding of colour, space, mood, materials, and the properties of light
• Knowledge concerning real-time/baked lighting techniques is a plus.
• Should have a strong knowledge of lighting techniques & understanding of materials, light behaviour across various types of materials
• A solid understanding of PBR techniques and how they relate to lighting.
• Must have good understanding of composition Strong Knowledge of the cinematography principles including depth of field, density, use of filters.
• Good working knowledge of animation packages, particularly Maya, 2D paint software and various industry-standard rendering programs, such as Arnold, Renderman and Mental Ray.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with the team towards a defined goal

Desired Candidates Skill:

• Must have Experience with Unity or Unreal 4 is a huge advantage
• Proficiency in Photoshop or equivalent DCC apps
• Traditional art background
• Be able to take direction, and be prepared to make changes to work in response to constructive feedback
• Have good communication and presentation skills
• Be able to work calmly and efficiently to tight deadlines
• Providing knowledge and feedback into the development of lighting pipelines and tools
• Coordinating with the programming and design teams to overcome technical lighting challenges.
• Must be passionately in love with Art,Films.
• Be able to take direction, and be prepared to make changes to work in response to constructive feedback
• Have good communication and presentation skills
• Must have a good eye for detail to understand the concept of material aging, how an object/material changes its shape and texture over time.
