Job Description and Responsibilities

Are you a skilled Millwright looking for an exciting opportunity to make an impact in a dynamic and innovative environment? Join the team at Interpro in Camrose, Alberta, where your expertise in repairing, troubleshooting, and installing machinery will play a critical role in our operations.

We’re seeking a full-time Millwright who thrives on problem-solving, can interpret blueprints and schematics with precision, and takes pride in maintaining and repairing essential equipment. If you’re detail-oriented, experienced in maintenance management systems, and ready to contribute to a supportive, safety-first workplace, we’d love to hear from you!

• Receive instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repair, installation, and inspection work to be done

• Inspects mill equipment for defects, such as misalignment, wear, insufficient lubrication

• Determines the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production

• Advises when immediate shutdown of equipment is necessary to minimize damage or when temporarily continued operation will have no harmful effect

• Dismantles, cleans, repairs, replaces, installs, maintains, assembles and lubricates mechanical equipment

• Adjusts equipment for proper operating characteristics

• Makes either temporary or permanent repairs

• Assembles and aligns gears, bearings, and shafts, involving the application of press, sliding, and running fits

• Works with repair crew as directed on emergency breakdowns

Requirements

• Must possess a Red Seal Journeyman Certificate or Alberta Journeyman Certificate

• Previous work experience in an industrial manufacturing setting is an asset

• Must be able to work rotating shifts (days & nights)

• Must successfully pass the pre-employment screening process
