Job Description

The Geologist - Mining position’s role is to safely and efficiently collect, interpret, and generate geological information related to Ore Control. The geologist should actively participate in efforts to minimize dilution and maximize the value of material sent to the process plant and long-term stockpiles.

1. Core Responsibilities

  • Geological mapping, core/chip logging, field sampling. 
  • Competent in textural classification of rocks and taking structural measurements
  • Understand Ore Movement and dilution, be proactive in addressing operational needs.

2. Software Organization

  • Interpretate geological information
  • Update and maintain a geological model, for short range use.
  • Use of Geological Software
