Position Summary
The MIS Analyst is responsible for accurate collection, consolidation, analysis, and reporting of business data to support operational monitoring and management decision-making. The role ensures timely availability of standardized MIS reports across departments while maintaining data integrity and compliance with internal reporting standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Collect, validate, and consolidate data from multiple internal sources
Prepare and circulate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports as per defined formats
Maintain reports related to operations, sales, occupancy, revenue, and collections
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of reported data
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and highlight variances from benchmarks
Support department heads with ad-hoc data analysis and reporting requirements
Maintain historical records and databases for reference and audit purposes
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve data discrepancies
Follow defined data governance, confidentiality, and reporting protocols
Assist in standardizing reporting templates and processes
Ensure timely submission of reports to management as per reporting calendar
Skills and Competencies
Technical Skills
Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, data validation)
Ability to manage large datasets with accuracy
Basic knowledge of reporting dashboards and MIS tools is preferred
Experience using CRM, ERP, or internal reporting systems is an advantage
Behavioral Competencies
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Analytical and logical reasoning skills
Ability to work under deadlines with minimal supervision
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Professional conduct and adherence to company policies
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, or a related discipline
Additional certification in data analytics or MIS is an added advantage
Work Conditions
Office-based role
Standard working hours as per company policy
May require coordination with multiple departments and extended hours during reporting cycles
