Location: Meerut, Partapur, Delhi Road (Uttar Pradesh)
Work Timing: 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM (Two Saturday Off)
Reporting To: Lead Engineer
Job Purpose
The Mobile Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high quality mobile applications using Android and Kotlin technologies. The role requires translating business and UI/UX requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable mobile solutions while ensuring optimal application performance, user experience, and timely delivery of product features.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements, user stories, and UI/UX designs into scalable, secure, and high-performance Android and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) applications while ensuring an exceptional user experience.
- Take ownership of the complete mobile application development lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, release management, and post-production support.
- ·Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable Kotlin code by adhering to coding standards, best practices, and software engineering principles to ensure long-term scalability and reliability.
- ·Design and implement robust application architectures using modern design patterns such as MVVM, Repository Pattern, and Dependency Injection to improve code quality, modularity, and maintainability.
- Integrate and manage RESTful APIs using Retrofit, Ktor HttpClient, or similar frameworks, ensuring effective handling of network communication, API states, error scenarios, caching mechanisms, and data synchronization.
- Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects, crashes, memory leaks, and performance bottlenecks to maintain application stability, responsiveness, and optimal user experience.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA Engineers, Backend Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution, timely delivery, and successful release of product features and enhancements.
- Participate actively in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, effort estimation, daily stand-ups, code reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- · Strong hand's on experience in Android application development using Kotlin, with a focus on clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- · Good understanding of modern Android architecture patterns including MVVM, Repository Pattern, and Dependency Injection frameworks.
- · Experience integrating RESTful APIs using Retrofit/Ktor, along with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous programming.
- · Proficiency in building responsive user interfaces, debugging application issues, optimizing performance, and implementing testing best practices.
- · Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative software development workflows.
- · Exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), Jetpack Compose, and Firebase services such as Crashlytics, Analytics, and Push Notifications is preferred.
