Modern Workplace Consultant (Recast / M365)

The organization is in a transition to a modern Microsoft 365 workplace. Recast (formerly Liquit Workspace) is used as a central workplace and application facility. In addition to the modern workplace environment, various legacy applications and traditional workplace components are also present. As a Modern Workplace Consultant, you will work closely with the management team on the design, migration and optimization of the digital workplace. You not only provide technical support for the implementation, but also actively transfer knowledge to administrators and other ICT colleagues so that the organization can continue to build the modern workplace independently. Tasks and responsibilities Designing and developing the architecture of the modern workplace together with the management team Setting up, managing and optimizing Recast (Liquit Workspace) Supervise and execute migrations to Microsoft 365 Integrate and modernize legacy applications where necessary Advising on manageability, security and user experience Acting as a sparring partner for administrators and ICT colleagues Recording technical choices, working methods and documentation Actively providing knowledge transfer to the management team Supporting the further development of the modern workplace environment Contributing to a secure and future-proof ICT infrastructure Requirements Extensive demonstrable experience with Recast (Liquit Workspace) Proven experience migrating from traditional workplaces to Microsoft 365 Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Good knowledge of Windows Server 2016 to 2025 Knowledge of Citrix Knowledge of Ivanti Workspace Management Knowledge of VMware Desktop Management Experience with environments in which legacy applications play an important role Demonstrable experience within a joint municipal civil service organization Experience working with internal management and IT teams Good command of the Dutch and English language Advantages Experience with modern workplace transformations within government Experience with hybrid workplace environments Experience with knowledge transfer and coaching of management teams Experience with security and management optimizations within Microsoft 365 Competencies Collaborative Coaching ability Analytically strong Pragmatic Communicative skills Stakeholder-oriented Proactive Independent Result-oriented Knowledge-sharing Solution-oriented Organizationally sensitive Duration: 6 months (option to extent) Hours per week: 28 hours
