The opportunity

As a Manager in EY's International Tax Advisory Services practice, you'll help organizations navigate the intersection of tax, business strategy, and global growth. You'll lead client engagements involving complex cross-border issues, working directly with executives and finance leaders to develop pragmatic solutions that support business objectives while managing tax risk.

This role offers the opportunity to combine technical depth, client leadership, and team development while contributing to some of the most interesting international tax matters facing multinational businesses today.

Your key responsibilities

• Help multinational organizations navigate the tax implications of operating and growing across borders.
• Solve complex international tax challenges by combining technical expertise with practical business insight.
• Lead a broad range of advisory projects, including international tax planning, global restructuring initiatives, and emerging tax developments.
• Support clients in understanding and responding to evolving global tax frameworks, including BEPS Pillar Two and global minimum tax requirements.
• Develop innovative, forward-looking solutions that help clients manage risk and identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with professionals across EY's global network to deliver integrated and impactful client solutions.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and contribute to exceptional service delivery.
• Continuously expand your technical knowledge while staying current on legislative and regulatory developments.
• Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team environment that encourages learning, growth, and innovation.
• Develop and mentor high-performing tax professionals

Qualifications 

• A minimum of 5 years of Canadian Corporate tax experience, including 1 or more years working in Canadian International Tax or Transaction Tax 
• Completion of any of the following - a CPA designation, the CPA In-Depth tax course, an MTax or an LLM qualification

Ideally, you’ll also 

• Have BEPS Pillar Two planning and compliance exposure
