What you’ll be doing

As a Mortgage Solutions Advisor you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our customer portfolio through reactive engagement in both inbound and outbound mortgage sales inquiries.  Your focus will be on not only fulfilling mortgage leads but also creating strong relationships with our business partners and our clients. You will fulfill mortgage leads inclusive of purchase, refinance, ports, and early renewal negotiation. You will ensure targets are achieved while maintaining client satisfaction.

 

You will be eligible to participate in CIBC’s year-end incentive award program, Goals, Performance, Success (GPS) and you will receive a competitive base salary.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You can effectively perform all work activities remotely, and will only be required to be on-site on an occasional basis.

We have embarked on an Agent@Home remote work program. All employees are required to meet the Agent@Home program requirements and be able to attend your primary work location within two hours’ notice for any business-related purposes.

Agent @ Home Program Requirements 

  • Ability to work independently in a private and quiet workspace (ie. in a room or office with a door that closes)

  • Wired Internet connection capable of continuously supporting excellent call quality and high-speed response rate (internet connection can be connected to modem through hard cable (not wireless) with a minimum download speed of 15 mbps and upload speed of 10 mbps)

  • Satellite internet providers are prohibited and cannot be used due to the impact on call quality and the stability of service.

The start date is November 23rd, 2026. Our Contact Centre is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm EST and Saturday 9am-5pm EST. This is a full-time and shift-oriented role, we’d like you to be flexible between these hours.

How you'll succeed  

  • Client Service – Ensure client questions and issues are answered in accordance with department objectives. Follow up with clients to ensure proper documentation is received and signed. Follow up on leads provided by the call centre, general servicing team, information statements, discharge statements and mortgage verifications.

  • Subject Matter Expert – Ensure you remain updated on knowledge of new products, policies, procedures and competition in order to fulfill client needs and explain mortgage conditions and documents.

  • Relationship building - Work closely with underwriters and advancing partners to ensure mortgage is approved and funded.

  • Performance - Achieve sales targets across all parameters of the business plan.
