What you'll do

  • Provide a range of Engineering Support and Maintenance services across the Burton Manufacturing site
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance and Breakdown Response on process equipment in production and support areas
  • Ensure that all equipment is maintained effectively
  • Ensure all breakdowns / repairs are carried out efficiently and safely

  • Ideally apprentice trained to NVQ level 3 or time served
  • Competent and experienced in core mechanical workshop skills (fitting, hydraulics and pneumatics)
  • CMMS experience ideally SAP - PM Module
  • Good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and associated regulatory requirements
  • Experience of contractor control systems
  • Experience in mechanical fault finding, defect rectification and routine maintenance activities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Nice to have

  • Experience in fabrication and welding would be beneficial
  • Basic PLC fault finding skills would be an advantage

3 week Rotating Pattern - Days & Nights (06:00 to 18:00 & 18:00 to 06:00). No Sunday working & work 1 in every 3 Saturdays

£49,305 - £53,519 per annum DOE (Including shift allowance) + overtime (paid at a premium) + benefits.

Our operations are organised into three distinct divisions: Landscape Products, Building Products, and Roofing Products and it is within our Marley business that we are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer on a shift basis as detailed below.

So what's the mission?
The role of the Maintenance Engineer is to provide a range of Engineering Support and Maintenance services across the Burton Manufacturing site.
