Previous asphalt or plant experience is beneficial but not essential - we’re more interested in your attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.Working hours -Rotating shift pattern 5pm - 3am, Monday – Friday plus every other Saturday WhatYou’llBe Doing Reporting to the Operations Manager,you’llplay a key role in the safe, efficient day‑to‑day running of the RAP Yard, contributing to production targets and high-quality outputs.Your responsibilities will include:Mixing asphalt to specificationProduction of RAP to specificationWorking collaboratively to deliver quality materials and on‑time customer deliveriesWeighbridge operationsOperating mobile plant including loading shovelSupporting Supervisors with daily and weekly production targetsCarrying out inspections, identifying defects and implementing remedial actionsAssisting with planned and reactive plant maintenanceEnsuring housekeeping standards are consistently highActively promoting and operating to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standardsThis is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys operational responsibility and being part of a production-focused team.
