The Manager - IT Finance Lead will support the effective management of IT vendors, commercial operations, procurement processes, budgets and contracts. The role will work closely with Infra IT teams, Procurement, Finance and vendors, ensuring disciplined execution of PR/PO processes, vendor governance, budget tracking, contract administration, invoice/payment coordination, financial reporting and management MIS.

The role will also analyze IT expenditure, support cost-optimization initiatives, maintain vendor and contractual governance, and provide data-driven insights for IT decision-making.

Responsibilities:

IT Budget Management, Financial Control, Invoice & Payment Coordination

• Coordinate the IT Infra budgeting process with relevant IT tower leads and Finance.
• Support annual IT Infra budget planning and consolidation.
• Perform budget variance analysis and highlight significant deviations to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain appropriate visibility of IT Infra expenditure and committed spend. (Actual vs Spend)
• Support financial governance of IT transactions and prepare periodic budget reports for management reviews.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on vendor invoicing and payment matters.
• Track invoices and associated commercial transactions through the vendor lifecycle.
• Assist in resolving issues affecting invoice/payment processing.
• Work with IT teams, Procurement, Finance and vendors for timely issue resolution.

IT Vendor Management & Governance

• Manage day-to-day governance activities across the IT vendor lifecycle.
• Work closely with IT stakeholders, Procurement, Finance and vendors to resolve operational and commercial issues.
• Maintain appropriate vendor-management information required for governance activities.

Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order & Commercial Operations

• Coordinate creation and processing of Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO) and Rate Contracts (RC) through applicable ERP/procurement systems.
• Work with IT teams and Procurement to support timely completion of commercial transactions.
• Track requirements through the Requirement -> PR -> PO -> Delivery lifecycle.
• Maintain visibility of open commercial transactions and follow up with relevant stakeholders for closure.
• Support appropriate documentation and governance of IT commercial transactions.
• Coordinate commercial requirements with IT stakeholders and Procurement.

Contract Management

• Maintain visibility of IT service agreements/PO.
• Monitor contractual milestones and renewal requirements.
• Maintain appropriate contract records and MIS and escalate contractual risks or delays requiring management intervention.

Cost Allocation & Chargeback Support

• Support IT cost-allocation and chargeback activities across relevant entities.
• Work with Finance and other stakeholders to assist with appropriate cost allocation.
• Maintain supporting data required for chargeback reporting and analysis.
• Assist with reconciliation and reporting of allocated IT costs.

Reporting, MIS & Analytics

• Prepare regular management MIS and dashboards covering IT commercial and vendor-management activities.
• Provide accurate information to facilitate management decision-making.
• Use relevant reporting platforms, including SAP, SAP BW and Power BI, where applicable.
• Analyze information and highlight key exceptions, financial variances and issues requiring management attention.
• Support structured reviews with internal stakeholders and vendors.

Educational Qualification

BSc Commerce or Graduate in any discipline.

10-12 Years

Skill (Functional & Behavioural):

IT commercial management, Procurement processes,

Ability to follow, manage and improve structured processes supporting efficient IT commercial and vendor operations.

Ability to coordinate effectively across IT, Procurement, Finance and vendor organizations

Proactive approach to resolving operational, commercial and cross-functional issues

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, MS Office, Power Query, budget tracking, variance analysis, and dashboard creation.
