External Job Description

Job Purpose

Lead the design, development and implementation of Data Science, Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions. The role will require hands-on development, practical knowledge of Azure AI services, and the ability to build LLM and agent-based applications using agentic frameworks. The role involves guiding team members and working with business stakeholders to drive solutions from requirement through deployment.

Business Responsibility Areas

• Understand business problems and convert them into Data Science, Machine Learning or Generative AI solutions.
• Perform hands-on development of ML and AI solutions.
• Build and evaluate classification, regression, recommendation and other predictive models.
• Develop LLM-based applications using prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings and vector search.
• Design and implement agent-based applications using suitable agentic AI frameworks.
• Develop or integrate MCP servers and MCP-based tools.
• Design and deploy AI solutions using relevant Azure data and AI services.
• Guide the team in data preparation, feature engineering, model evaluation and solution development.
• Work with business, data, cloud, security and application teams to deliver solutions through development, UAT and production.
• Monitor deployed models and AI applications for accuracy, reliability, performance and cost.
• Maintain technical documentation and promote reusable components and development standards.
