Murex BA/PM - CTRM

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Murex consultant to support the implementation, optimisation, and transformation of client project. The role requires deep understanding of the end-to-end trade lifecycle across physical and/or financial commodities, with the ability to translate complex trading requirements into structured system solutions.

The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between front office, risk, operations, finance, and technology teams in BBGC projects.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements across trading, risk, operations and finance, translating them into functional specifications and delivery priorities.
• Manage project scope, plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and budgets, providing clear progress reporting and escalating issues.
• Work with business users, technical teams and vendors to coordinate Murex enhancements, integrations and process improvements.
• Coordinate testing, UAT, defect resolution, data migration and go-live readiness, ensuring successful business adoption and handover to support.

Required experience
Strong hands-on Murex experience within a commodity or energy trading environment, with a proven track record in both business analysis and project delivery. A sound understanding of trade lifecycle processes, valuation, P&L, risk and settlements is essential, alongside excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Candidates should be comfortable moving between detailed functional analysis and overall delivery coordination.
