Required Qualifications:
Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Current South Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure as an NP or PA
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
DEA and applicable state prescribing credentials prior to start date
Two years of family medicine experience preferred
Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care
Commitment to improving health outcomes in an underserved community
Position Highlights:
Provide comprehensive primary care services across the lifespan, from pediatrics through geriatrics
Conduct preventive health visits, annual wellness exams, and chronic disease management
Perform comprehensive health histories and physical examinations
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based practice
Order, interpret, and utilize laboratory and diagnostic testing to guide treatment decisions
Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers as appropriate
Document and bill for direct patient care services
Participate in quality improvement, compliance, and accreditation activities
Potential opportunity to precept APP students and support the development of new team members
