Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Purpose of the role:

Lead planning, execution, commissioning and operational readiness of Mechanical Utilities, Building Services and Infrastructure for Paint Shop during Greenfield project phase and ensure reliable utility operations, maintenance and capacity enhancement post SOP.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, execution and commissioning of Mechanical Utilities and Infrastructure for Paint Shop.
• Ensure utility readiness for equipment installation, trials, commissioning and SOP.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, Civil and Electrical teams for timely project execution.
• Manage contractors, consultants and vendors to achieve project targets related to quality, cost, delivery and safety.
• Drive installation and commissioning of HVAC systems, paint booth utilities, chilled water systems, compressed air systems and utility piping networks.
• Ensure environmental control systems meet process, quality and sustainability requirements of Paint Shop operations.
• Establish maintenance, reliability and TPM systems to ensure uninterrupted utility support after SOP.
• Monitor utility performance, energy consumption and asset reliability and implement improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Support future capacity expansion, debottlenecking and utility enhancement projects while developing team capability and continuous improvement culture. 

Experience

10-15 Years in relevant field

Industry Preferred

Automotive OEM / Auto Component / Industrial Manufacturing /EPC Projects

B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
