  • Collaborate with other IT system team members and the Government to maintain and enhance mission IT systems
  • Maintain high availability to ensure readiness for 24x7 mission operations
  • Drive innovative solutions to solve challenging network and mission IT system challenges that support mission

  • Coordinates the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed
  • Creates plans and configure systems for data communication networks
  • Designs and builds hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks
  • Evaluates new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network
  • Designs, plans, and builds communications networks. Configures routers, switches, and firewalls for LAN and WAN systems and VPN concentrators with appropriate network engineering and communications protocols. Coordinates LAN/WAN hardware/software improvements and/or enhancements. Monitors networks utilizing industry leading processes, technologies and tools. Provides innovative methods and technical solutions using the engineering design process. Plans implementation of enhancements to LAN/WAN networks. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned

NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Network Administrator Senior, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our customer. You will play a crucial role in providing network engineering and administration of multiple classified and unclassified networks that connect mission-critical IT systems in support of the customer’s global mission operations.

  • Collaborate with other IT system team members and the Government to maintain and enhance mission IT systems

● Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
● US citizenship required
● Location: On Customer Site

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
