$54.90 - $82.35Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Neurosurgery is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join a nationally recognized Neurosciences team in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This role supports multiple neurosurgeons by providing comprehensive outpatient care, improving patient access, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional neurological and neurosurgical care.
The APP will primarily practice in an outpatient setting, managing patient evaluations, follow-up care, treatment planning, and care coordination while working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Primary Responsibilities

Schedule & Call Expectations
Standard clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
Primarily daytime schedule.
Shared outpatient call coverage (phone-only) among APP colleagues.
Potential inpatient rounding responsibilities approximately 1 in every 13 weekends at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
Patient Population & Practice Environment
Outpatient-focused position.
Average patient volume of 15-20 patients per day.
Collaborative practice consisting of 13 physicians and 14 APPs.
No procedural requirements associated with this position.
Qualifications
Required:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Eligible for licensure in North Carolina.
Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
