Position: Night Shift Hygiene Operative
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Salary: £13.84 per hour

OWN TRANSPORT ESSENTIAL DUE TO LOCATION AND WORKING HOURS

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitisation of equipment, production areas, and facilities according to established standards and protocols.
• Follow strict hygiene practices to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Handle cleaning chemicals responsibly, adhering to proper handling and storage procedures.
• Assist in dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling production equipment as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Collaborate with the production team to maintain smooth operations and minimise downtime.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any issues or deviations to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar hygiene or cleaning role, preferably within a food manufacturing environment, is advantageous.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling procedures.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work night shifts on a consistent basis.
