Key responsibilities of the Numeracy Intervention Assistant:

• Deliver 1:1 and small group numeracy support focused on SATs preparation
  
  
• Confidently manage behaviour to maintain a productive learning environment
  
  
• Employ creative and proactive teaching methods to enhance pupil progress
  
  
• Maintain effective communication with parents and teaching staff
  
  
• Follow curriculum guidelines while targeting individual student needs
  
  
• Monitor and support pupil progress and attainment in numeracy
  
  
• Collaborate flexibly and effectively as part of a supportive team
  
  

Essential requirements:

• MUST hold a 1:1 or 2:1 Mathematics degree from a top 20 UK university
  
  
• Strong and confident in behaviour management
  
  
• Previous experience working with children in educational settings preferred
  
  
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with parents and staff
  
  
• Proactive, creative, adaptable, and a committed team player
