Job Summary

Summary

Responsible for providing guidance, advice, and support on clinical practices, policies, and patient care standards. This position involves collaborating with healthcare teams, administrators, and stakeholders to enhance patient care quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement evidence-based practices by identifying areas for improvement, developing training programs, and advising on patient care strategies to optimize outcomes and promote best practices.

Essential Functions
Provide expert clinical advice to healthcare teams, including nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, to improve patient care quality and safety.
-Review and evaluate clinical practices, policies, and procedures to ensure they are evidence-based, up-to-date, and aligned with current standards of care.
-Conduct assessments and audits of clinical environments to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
-Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on enhancing patient outcomes, reducing errors, and improving overall clinical efficiency.
-Develop, implement, and monitor clinical practice guidelines, protocols, and pathways to promote consistent and high-quality care delivery.
-Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS, Joint Commission, and other accreditation bodies.
-Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of new programs and services that enhance patient care delivery and operational efficiency.
-Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and leadership to ensure that clinical and operational concerns are addressed.


 

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's Degree Nursing required and Master's Degree Related Field of Study required

Licenses and Credentials
Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required

Experience
Experience in clinical nursing, nursing administration, or healthcare consulting 5-7 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of clinical practices, healthcare regulations, quality improvement methodologies, and evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience with data analysis, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
