- Strong computer skills
- Eligible for limited prescriptive authority in Louisiana as approved by St Tammany Health System.

- Maintain continuing medical education per licensure and clinic protocols.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Hours: Monday-Friday between 7am-5pm (shift varies) 36 hr/wk
JOB SUMMARY:
This individual is employed by St. Tammany Health System (STHS) for the purpose of coordinating the care of and treating wound care patients discharged from St. Tammany Parish Hospital main campus to outside facilities.
Responsibilities to include:
Nurse Practitioner: Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic wounds under the supervision of the outpatient wound care clinic physicians in a clinic or facility setting. Focus on health promotion and disease prevention. Provides clinical services and develops and implements plan of care in conjunction with collaborating physicians. May order and interpret diagnostic test such as lab work and imaging. May prescribe medication within scope of practice.
Physician Assistant: Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic wounds as a part of a healthcare team both in an office and facility setting under the supervision of the outpatient wound care clinic physicians. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 20 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
