Zest Education is looking for a Nursery Nurse to join a warm and welcoming early years setting in Burton. This role begins during October 2026 and runs until the end of the half term, and it may lead to further work as the year continues.

The Role

As a Nursery Nurse, you will support children aged 0–5 throughout their daily routines. You will plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities, and you will help create a safe and inspiring space. In addition, you will build strong relationships with children, parents and staff. You will also contribute to observations while following EYFS guidelines, and you will work closely with the wider team to help every child feel confident and supported.

Ideal Candidate

You will be a great fit if you:

• Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred)

• Bring experience working with young children

• Understand the EYFS framework

• Show enthusiasm, patience and a nurturing approach

• Communicate clearly and work well with others

• Adapt quickly to each child’s needs and stay proactive throughout the day
